Background Investigations

For a nanny to register with our agency, they must provide 2 written references, proof of qualifications, experience and photo ID. They also fill in a Working With Children Check Employment Screening Form which is then forwarded to the NSW Commission for Children & Young People to be cleared. All primary referees are contacted.

Personal Interview: To assess appearance, hygiene, professionalism and personality.

CPR/First Aid: certificates are required.

Application: covers nanny's education, training in childcare, family information, personality profile, interests, skills and availability. We can email you the Carer's Profile during the search process.

Work History: includes previous employers name and contact numbers, nanny's responsibilities, dates of employment, salary, ages of child or children cared for.

 

 

NANNY/MOTHERS HELP

Nanny - Care for children including light meal prep, activities, sole charge of children, bed and bath.
Mothers Help - same as a nanny however may also include general house work, preparation and sometimes cooking for the rest of the family, washing and folding of clothes.

AFTER SCHOOL CARERS

After School Carers require a minimum of 3-4 hours per day.

ASC's duties include pick up and drop offs from school to activities etc, homework supervision, stimulating care, some light housework, meals, bath and bed. Lunch and uniform prep for the next day is also included if time permits.
