To ensure the highest standard of care, A.M. Home Help Agency works with other health and community service providers such as hospitals, general practitioners, Protective Commissioner, ACAT Services. The level of care required by each resident is assessed prior to commencement of service.
Palliative Care
A.M. Home Help Agency provides professional specialised nursing care and support for people with advanced illnesses and those who care for them.
While upholding the rights of the individual and their family to make day-to-day decisions, A.M. Home Help Agency can provide:
- Home nursing
- Pain and symptom management
- Advice on equipment for nursing care at home
- Emotional support and guidance
- Assistance and relief for the care giver (in-home respite care)
- Liaison between home, hospital, and doctors
Respect for individual's personal values, beliefs, and cultural background is also important to us.
Individuals may refer themselves or be referred by friends, carers, members of their family, their doctor, the hospital before returning home or Respite Care providers.
A.M. Home Help Agency endeavours to:

Hours of Service
A.M. Home Help Agency provides Palliative Care in the home seven days a week. If required extended support can be arranged.
If you or someone you love has been diagnosed with a terminal illness please contact us. We are available at our office Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm to assist and support you.
Respite Services
Respite care
provides support for older people, people with dementia, young people
with a disability, and for carers and their families. We also provide
'time out' for carers. Care can be either in-home, or in the Nursing
Home, Retirement Village or Hospital.
